Claudine M. Jalajas has her MFA in Writing from Southampton College of Long Island University. Claudine graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clarkson University with an accounting degree and concentration in technical communications.

A technical writer for 14 years, her nonfiction work has been published with CPAmerica International, Hybrid Mom Magazine, Pathways Press, Achieving Families Magazine, Proteus, LIU Southampton Literary Magazine, The Southampton Review as well as several online publications like How to Make a Family, About.com, and BellaOnline. She was a finalist for the 2006 John Steinbeck writing contest at Southampton College of Long Island University.
